INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 small onion
- 1/4 clove garlic
- 1 large whole egg
- 90 milliliters (3 fluid ounces) skimmed milk
- 50 grams (1.8 ounces) blue cheese
- 75 grams (1 cup) broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to season as desired
- Black pepper to season as desired
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (364 degrees Fahrenheit / Gas Mark 4).
- Finely chop the onion.
- Mince the garlic
- Roughly chop the broccoli florets.
- Thoroughly combine the egg and milk together; season with salt and pepper.
COOKING
- Preheat a large saucepan over medium heat with the olive oil.
- Add the onions, garlic, and broccoli, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking until soft.
- Season with salt and pepper to personal taste.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish (12.5 cm wide X 3 cm deep / 5” wide X 1.2” deep).
- Gently pour the egg and milk over the broccoli mix until the baking dish is almost full.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the center has set.
